The Medtronic 5388 is a temporary dual-chamber pacemaker that offers eight different pacing modes. It is battery-powered and typically connected to transvenous, epicardial, or myocardial leads. Suitable for temporary single or dual-chamber pacing, this device delivers a consistent pulse thanks to its constant current feature. Medtronic also provides other dual-chamber pacemakers, such as the Medtronic 5392.
